8.00pm The Tingle factor – this year with the twist of audio and visual clips. Join a sing along afterwards.

Wednesday 22nd June 7.30 pm

Polyphony & Puddings angelic sounds with the perfect accompaniment- Pudding- in the Holy Trinity Church.

A Gooseberry and Goosebumps experience!

Thursday 23rd June FOUR Events.

6.00pm Petanque & Welly wanging competition on the main field – Bring a partner or pair up on the evening and have boule a of a time. The winners will be crowned at 8..45 in the village hall.

8.00pm Childrens short story competition Jean Mayfield Cup (entries in by 21st June) & don’t miss the excellent “Call me Bluff.”

Friday 24th June Dual Event

6.00pm. Fun Run organised by James and Jo. Enrol at the village hall – first villager back will be presented with the “Stan Smith Kirk Ireton Memorial Trophy” to keep for the coming year

8.00pm. Surprise celebrity quiz in the village

Hall. No BBC Eggheads allowed to enter the

Jane Newsham Cup.

12.30 ­ Floats & Villagers gather at the top of

the village. Judging of Fancy dress, floats by the magical Stuart Brown .

1.20 – Carnival Procession led by BMW Brass
band followed by floats and village
2.00 Face painting by “Little Cherubs”
Angela Bailey outside Durham House.

Donations gratefully accepted.

2.15 – Maypole dancing by the children of K.I. school.

All hens need to be fed, watered and

saddled up for the 2m handicap. Your stewards are Mr & Mrs Nick Delves

3.00 – Soap Box Derby – if it has wheels and is homemade it can enter. Main Street.

3.30 – The Engineering Challenge. Rise to the challenge in the school – Judged by Mac

4.00 – The Great Ball Race, sponsored by ”Studio in the Park”, get and mark your balls next to the PA desk

opposite the car park.

4.25 – Wheel barrow race Speed & Looks awards

From the hay bales at the bottom of the village to the PA system. Man and machine in perfect harmony!

4.45 – Raffle/Prize giving at the P.A. system.

5.00 – FREE Childrens Tea followed by

6.00 – Enjoy the Live Ceilidh band at KI.Bowl in the middle of Main Street ,

………. £6 ticket includes food and entrance to the dance. Tickets from the Shop

  1. Can you please tell me the origin of the Thomas walker darts tournament? I’m interested to see if it’s my mum’s cousin who used to own millfields farm.
